Taylor. Swift. Tour.

After four long years, Taylor Swift is finally heading back on tour and we at The Edge, couldn't be more excited. It was a celebration when the album was released and the party continued when Swifties found out there would also be a tour.

Shortly after the release of her album “Midnights” on October 21st, Swift announced that she would be going on tour.

“Midnights” is Swift's 10th studio album and gave us a different insight into the brain of Taylor Swift. This album was written differently than previous ones, more targeting Swift’s own insecurities and experiences.

Along with the album and tour dates, Swift also announced that she has filmed music videos for songs on the album and she is calling them the “Midnights Music Movies.”

Hours after Swift released her album, she then went on to release seven more songs called “the 3 a.m. tracks.”

The tracklist is as follows:

1. "Lavender Haze"

2. "Maroon"

3. "Anti-Hero"

4. "Snow on the Beach" ft. Lana Del Rey

5. "You're on Your Own, Kid"

6. "Midnight Rain"

7. "Question…?"

8. "Vigilante S---"

9. "Bejeweled"

10. "Labyrinth"

11. "Karma"

12. "Sweet Nothing"

13. "Mastermind"

Swift describes this album as: “a collection of music written in the middle of the night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams” according to EW.com.

Swift’s tour has 27 dates planned around the United States. Other artists set to appear on her tour are, Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN.

Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” is expected to be a mix of performances from all the albums she has yet to go on tour for. Swift is describing the tour as “a journey through the musical eras of my career (past and present!)”

Since Taylor Swift was last on the road touring, she has released “Folklore,” “Evermore,” and now “Midnights.” Since that time she has also rereleased “Red” and “Fearless.”

For the first time in history, all top 10 sports on the hot 100 were filled by the same artist. Taylor Swift achieved this with her song “Anti-Hero” being at number 1.

Taylor Swift has impressed us time and time again and we can't wait to see her performances on tour. Let us know your thoughts on the new album and Taylor Swift finally going on tour!
