Prep For Your Outfit… I Mean Finals
No matter what college or high school you go to, finals are a struggle. Although the content is challenging, dressing right for the occasion shouldn’t be. You should focus on your assignments and not stress about how you will look in front of all your peer... even if you’re not sure what you’re going to say. So while you worry about what I just wrote, here is our guide to preparing your closet for finals.
Exams
The exam. Days spent agonizing over a hundred pages of notes. Trying to cram information into your brain that you learned in January. But, no worries, you’ve got this, and we’re here to help you be the most comfortable you can be during this challenging time.
Elle.com credits Aerie’s Real Me High Waisted Crossover Leggings as one of the best athleisure pieces. These would be perfectly paired with your favorite hoodie or t-shirt for your exam. Be as comfortable as possible so you can do your best!
Free People also has matching sets that would be perfect for taking exams. You would not have to think about your outfit since it will be planned out beforehand. This is a great way to feel good about yourself while dressing down.
Presentations
Presentations, like exams, take a lot of preparation. Planning your content and planning what to say can seem scary, but it is not all bad because you get to dress up! Feeling confident in what you wear will make you feel more confident as you present.
A linen pant paired with a white cropped blouse is a great option. You will be comfortable but look presentable – which is the whole goal!
An alternative could also be a dress. Wearing a short dress is fine, but check the length before presenting. You do not want to be fidgeting with it during your final. One option is from Revolve. This simple black dress can be paired with a sweater or blazer and a simple sandal or heel to complete the look..
Although finals are stressful, dressing for them shouldn’t be. You can look put together even if you are nervous. You will be more confident and feel more prepared if you prep your closet, not just your exams.
