The Rise of Balaclavas

With Fashion Week season springing upon us, balaclavas have been hitting the runway like they’re going out of stock! Balaclavas are knit caps for the head and neck, typically with unique designs on them. Many models have been supporting this knitwear which has become a staple piece in winter. Even though spring is approaching, balaclavas would still make a perfect accessory for spicing up a simple outfit on the chillier days. 

Ella Emhoff, the stepdaughter of U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, has created her own collection of balaclavas and debuted them at Spring Studios in New York City. 

The high-fashion brand Jacquesmus debuted balaclavas as part of their Le Papier collection. This turned out to be one of the most successful collection launches for the brand. 

Singer Olivia Rodrigo sported her multi-colored balaclava throughout London. She paired it with rectangle-shaped sunglasses and a gray sweatshirt.
