Our Take on TikTok’s Viral Greens Powder
Here at The Edge, we pride ourselves on scavenging through the newest and hottest products to hit the market. If you're looking for a new pre-workout alternative that leaves you feeling energized, but also tastes good, we're here to put Bloom Nutrition to the test. Over the past couple of months, the craze behind this health-focused brand has increased because it not only tastes good, but it is also fueled by ingredients that do what they are meant to do. Their best-selling product would have to be their Greens & Superfoods supplements. There is lots of talk about the brand on social media, but as a consumer, how do we actually know if it’s worth the hype?
Bloom has been viral on TikTok for its claims to support gut health and bloating, and its great taste. Not only is it gluten-free and enhanced with dairy-free probiotics, but it is also soy-free. Filled with natural digestive enzymes, it aims to boost and combat bloating while helping to balance gut health. It is available in more than five flavors, and it is packed with over 30 essential nutrients! Since we are talking about the benefits, we wanted to mention how packed Bloom is with organic ingredients like fruits and vegetables to help boost natural energy levels. Ingredients like barley grass, wheatgrass and spirulina are rich in antioxidants, and they will boost that immune system for sure!
In all honesty, it sounds too good to be true, right? Some of the cons we would like to highlight include the price. In comparison to other supplements, Bloom is surprisingly overpriced for the quantity. Especially with a a new company making a name for themselves, buying Bloom is definitely a risk to take. However, they have recently branched out to be sold in not only Target, but in Walmart as well. Another negative is the potency. There has been an issue with potency within the product itself, and a debate over whether or not it is actually filled with the nutrients you need. Yes, the ingredients are at a higher quality, but the nutrients themselves are at a low distribution and are underdosed. Bloom is not approved by the FDA, which is something to be mindful about.
To wrap up and come to a conclusion together, we feel as though Bloom is definitely a great way to get your greens in, but it may have been overly advertised. There are several supplementary products available on the market that are ranked highly, fill you up nutritionally and are cheaper, too. We hope this information is helpful in deciding whether Bloom products are worth the hype or not. We are always here to give our honest opinion so that everyone can make a logical decision about what’s best for their body!
