The Power of a Kitten Heel

Just a few years ago, kitten heels were considered controversial. However, they’re back and never going out of style! Mature and classy, kitten heels will amplify any outfit. Kitten heels were first brought to the spotlight during the 1950s. Hollywood legend Audrey Hepburn wore kitten heels during the iconic 1961 film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” and she made it “cool” to wear these mini-heeled shoes. Twenty years later, kitten heels were thrown into the public eye again as they became the main statement shoe during the 1988 Oscar de la Renta runway show. Kitten heels are here to stay.

Comfort is Key

If you’re anything like us, we would rather throw on a pair of comfortable yet sophisticated kitten heels rather than agonizing high heels. Why gravitate towards pain when you can opt for comfort? The great thing about these heels is that you’re still going to look expensive and put together. Stylist icon and actress Lily-Rose Depp is pictured below wearing her kitten heels paired with a simple tee and denim shorts. It’s just that simple.

Versatility is Endless

Unlike regular high heels, kitten heels can be worn for any occasion and outfit, therefore making it one of the most versatile shoe options! Whether it’s attending a brunch, formal, concert or just relaxing at home, these mini-heels are perfect for any event. Kendall Jenner was seen wearing these nude kitten heels, pairing them with a white blouse and Levi's.

High Fashion Worthy

While attending these high-fashion events, celebrities have been wearing kitten heels like they’re the ones on the runway! These stars are sitting in the front row at these exclusive events while wearing these iconic heels, making it shown that these heels are not going away anytime soon. Actress Julia Garner was seen wearing black kittens as she attended the Gucci show at Milan Fashion Week 2023.
