Let’s Shop FLEA

Need the perfect backdrop for your digital camera? Looking to satisfy a craving for the classic? If you happen to find yourself in the nation’s capital this summer and are looking for a very vintage, relaxing way to explore — we recommend checking out the Georgetown Flea Market. This flea market is a quaint Sunday-only, open-air shopping spot and a prime D.C. location to browse antiques, vintage goods and collectibles. It's time to break out the disposable camera, sunnies and retro vibes, and hit one of D.C.’s hidden shopping gems!

Variety, variety, and more variety, from cameras to clothes and accessories to art, you can find it all at this cute city corner. Located in the parking lot of the Hardy Middle School, the true heart of this small market is in the friendliness of its vendors. Featuring stalls with all different styles, vendors with a diversity of personalities, and a litany of city characters, you might just find the vintage record you have been searching for or meet some truly fascinating people. Each vendor has a story, and as you browse you might just make a new connection. A great way for a little active on a lazy Sunday, this little stretch of stalls is a perfect place to have casual conversations while browsing or just spending some time people-watching. Operating from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. weekly, check out the market before or after heading to Sunday brunch at one of Georgetown’s popular restaurants. Lean into the lovely, and enjoy a vintage-infused morning at this friendly neighborhood street market.
