Apple Picking Season = Sweater Season

Fall is by far my favorite season of the year. The season is full of warm smiles, beautiful foliage, sweaters, boots, jeans and the best of all, hot apple cider and homemade apple cider donuts.

During last week’s fall break, I had the chance to go home to Boston and go apple picking with my good friends. Here are a couple of tips when it comes to dressing comfortable, warm and stylish for apple picking.

For apple picking, definitely wear layers because it gets hot in the middle of the day making you want to shed after picking at your 3rd tree.

Always wear shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty and that are comfortable for walking in (and potentially climbing if you are feeling adventurous).

Wear fall colors that will match the fall foliage to ensure you can get that prime instagram content.

For my outfit, I wore Doc Marten combat boots, Levi boyfriend jeans, and an Urban Outfitters teddy jacket.

Don’t forget to stock up on apple cider donuts-it is the best part of the day!
