What’s in My To-Go Makeup Bag With Leslie Bond

Anastasia Amrezy Highlighter→ “The perfect golden glow. Put it under your brow bone, in your inner corner, and on top of your cheekbones. It is the perfect pick-me-up product. It has the perfect true gold tone without being too harsh and photographs really well.”

BROWS, BROWS, BROWS→ “I need to have a brow product in my makeup bag when I’m on the go. I love the Anastasia Brow Wiz in a medium brown, but a phenomenal dupe I just got is the e.l.f. brow pencil. It is basically the same product without the high price tag. I also have clear brow gel; Anastasia brow gel is my ride or die. However, there are tons of dupes, and you can also use clear mascara instead.”

Concealer→ “You need to have concealer in your on-the-go bag. Skip the foundation and just use concealer in the areas you need coverage. Don’t go too hard with foundation; it’ll save you time just to dab concealer on problem areas. My favorites are the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define. It’s super cheap, full coverage, but still has a natural finish that’s not too matte.”

Powder→ “Normally, I use loose translucent powder on a day-to-day basis, but it’s just not ideal for on-the-go because it’ll just spill in your bag. Keep a pressed powder on hand just in case you get shiny or need to re-do your under-eye concealer.”

Mascara→ “Pretty obvious pick. Keep your favorite mascara on hand. I’m currently loving an old cult favorite, L'oreal's Voluminous Mascara in Black.”

Eyeliner + lash glue (lash glue optional) --> “Have a good liquid eye-liner on hand. My favorites are Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner and NYX’s Super Skinny Liner in Carbon Black. Just in case you want to add a little something to your look or need to touch up your wing. I also have my duo lash glue on hand at all times because I am an avid lash-wearer. Totally optional though.”

BRONZER→ “As someone who sports a faux glow, bronzer is a staple. You can also use it as a natural eyeshadow in your crease. Always keep bronzer on hand. It makes me look and feel more alive.”

Blush (optional)--> “I’ve recently been really into the blush, even though I haven’t in the past. Since I have a pink toned complexion, I strayed away from adding color to my cheeks, but Milani’s Luminoso blush is fabulous. It combines peachy tones with pink and looks so natural and beautiful with a slight shimmer. It’s cheap, reliable, and it’ll last you for years.”
