The Edge Magazine’s Print Publication Celebration
On December 4th, staff, exec, and friends of The Edge Magazine gathered in Oak House to celebrate the release of the biannual print edition. There were sweet treats such as pumpkin cupcakes and mini-pecan bites provided.
Oak House also agreed to do a profit share with the organization, gifting a portion of the night’s revenue to help support the magazine’s future endeavors.
Magazines and stickers lined the tables as guests took in each page. This was the first time that anyone other than the magazine’s design team had seen their article spread, meeting many awe-struck reactions.
Fashion Editor, Caroline Saviano ‘20, thought the launch party was a blast.
“It was obvious that everyone who is a part of The Edge and this issue was extremely proud of the finished result, it was amazing to come together and celebrate something spectacular.”
The staff also celebrated their Editor-in-Chief, Cally Crocco ‘20, at her last launch party before graduating in the Spring. The staff and executive board all collaborated on a self-care kit to provide her as a “thank you” for working on The Edge for the past three and a half years.
Overall, the Fall 2019 launch party had the highest attendance to date, and The Edge looks forward to continuing to grow.
The print issue is also available to read online here.
