Local Spotlight: Shopping at The Muse in Graham, NC
After months of quarantining and social distancing, sometimes exactly what you need is an in-person fashion hunt. Nothing feels better than pulling a pile of clothes into a dressing room and “popping off” after an extended hiatus. But we are here to top that feeling. Introducing a local spotlight in Graham, NC: The Muse.
In the heart of downtown Graham, The Muse is an “inclusive trendsetting secondhand clothing company dedicated to serving a diverse community of fashion forward customers.” They offer a variety of tees, shirts, pants, shoes and accessories, all in the vein of grunge and vintage fashion.
They are open from Thursday to Saturday from 10am-6pm for shopping, selling, and trading and Sunday from 12-5pm for shopping.
They are currently buying flannels, vintage denim, and looks inspired by the 1990s; So its definitely time to check your closets and see if a trade might be in store!
Check out some of our favorite looks that they have, pulled from their Instagram (@themusenc):
Fur Coat
We are ALL about this shaggy faux fur coat and animal print combo. Nothing can top the elegance and drama of these two statement pieces together.
Monochrome
Bellbottoms alert! We love this unique monochromatic take on a yellow outfit by matching mixed patterns together. And the flared pants are an added bonus for fun.
Olive and Nude
Olive green. That’s it—that’s the color. We couldn’t be more obsessed with the simplicity of olive and nude put together, it is quintessentially all-seasonal.
Sweater Dress
Can someone get me this oversized sweater dress NOW? Imagine this sweater paired with some tan thigh-high boots. Not a want, but a need.
Flowy Top
We all know that flowy, knot tops are in. But with these colors and prints? Absolutely divine. This top could go with a flowy skirt OR tighter bottoms to completely change the look and still work.
