The Bridgerton Experience
It is hard to believe that it’s been three months since Bridgerton came into our lives and changed it for the better. From the sexy scenes to the high society glamour, Chris Van Dusen and Shonda Rhimes’ Netflix series had us hooked from the get-go.
Lucky for you, The Edge has a new way to keep your Bridgerton obsession going. You can now book a Bridgerton themed holiday at a country house in Norfolk, complete with a private chef, maid and your very own Lady Whistledown.
Travel company, Oliver’s Travels, is offering people the chance to book a luxury holiday package called 'The Bridgerton Experience”.
Inglethorpe Hall, which you’ll have all to yourself, is a lavish property fit for a Dutch and Duchess. Dating back to the 1700s, the historic hall sits in the heart of thirty acres of private grounds. Indoors you’ll find an exquisite sitting area, a large formal dining room, luxe bathrooms with standalone bathtubs, and four-poster beds in elegantly decorated bedrooms.
Beyond the chance to stay in this fabulous Grade II listed country house, the Bridgerton Experience is packed full of special touches and activities. The experience includes a private chef, maid, and a daily Lady Whistledown-esque newsletter outlining your plans for each day, all of which sound like they'd get the Featherington seal of approval.
Day one includes a picnic, and a private floristry workshop that will teach you how to create beautiful bouquets to adorn your home. Once the sun sets, bring your A-game for casino night. Champagne and debauchery are guaranteed.
On day two you'll enjoy a magical horse and carriage ride, followed by a glamorous evening ball, for which a ballgown or tuxedo will be provided along with a lady's maid to do your hair and make-up. Of course, the ball will feature live music and entertainment including classical versions of modern-day hits, so you and the 19 other guests can belt out your favorite bangers.
Obviously your final day will be spent tuck into a delightful afternoon tea in the property’s splendid dining area.
Throughout your stay you also have the option of whiling away an afternoon reading classic literature, which will be provided in the property.
Prices for The Bridgerton Experience start £1,750 per person for a 2-night stay (based on 6 people sharing), and if that's a little out of your price range you can always snuggle up in bed and re-binge the series. Both are a win!
