A lot of people are also shaving their heads to promote gender equality. Why are women expected to have long hair? Why are men expected to have short hair? When did hair length become such a gender stereotype; we all have it, and we all have the power to do whatever we want with it. A shaved head is a symbol of strength and confidence in one's identity. You don’t need to hide behind your hair, and anyone who judges you for it is just reflecting their own insecurities onto you.
