Eyeliner is primarily used to give attention to the eye and add definition. A simple swipe under the eye can take your makeup to the next level, but pay attention to the product you use. While liquid liner is bolder, it can smudge, leaving a messier look that may not be desired.

Curl, Curl, Curl!

While it may look like a torture device, an eyelash curler is another way of enhancing the eye's shape. Curling your lashes changes their direction, making them lift up.

Use an eyelash curler to prevent clumps and lash breakage. Be gentle when curling to prevent lashes from falling out. Keep eyes wide open when clamping down. When the lash is wet, it can stick to the eyelash curler, which can be painful and pull out your lashes. If you are using the curler after applying mascara, give enough time for the product to dry before going in for a second clamp.

Blush is your best friend!

Some people say that less is more. However, when it comes to blush, one cannot go wrong. Blush is there to add a pop of color to the face, highlight your cheek bones, and add dimension. A little could also be used on the nose, forehead, and chin to continue to add dimension to the face.

Whether you use cream or powder blush is up to you, as both will achieve a colorful image. Some blushes even contain a bit of highlighter to add sparkle and highlight desired points of the face.

Lip Oil!

Recently, lip oil has been trending because it is a moisturizer as well as a lip gloss. While lip gloss shines, it also can dry out the lip. Lip oil gives a clean and glossy finish without fearing the lip drying out.

Many brands have come out with their own versions of lip oil. Major brands like Dior and Merit have gotten into this trend with products that are easy to use. All it takes is one swipe over the upper and bottom lip for a glossy lip that also moisturizes. There are also many colors of lip oil to add a subtle tint without the heaviness of lip gloss.
